Waterway Champions is about giving people aged 16-25 in London the opportunity to make a difference in their area by helping get rid of some of the litter that affects our canals and rivers.

The result? Well, hopefully creating some nicer areas near you to enjoy, and developing a better living environment for wildlife. Not only this, but those taking part will learn new skills, make new friends and have a good time in the process.

There’s also the chance for those taking part to become leaders themselves, and guide other groups in cleaning up local areas. So, what will you need in order to take part? Nothing apart from some time and energy.
